Suggestion: “ Barbarella: Queen of the Galaxy” does not count as space suit research. That space suit would not work well in actual space.

Make them bright so no one gets lost in space and loops for hooks an tie ins so they can latch onto ships and space stations and not float out into space . Intra-solar system space suits should have solar panels and heat dispensing fins or sails. Deep space suits should be heat retaining slick.
